New machine!

Hi people of afterlife!

I have recently been in contact with killercreation / gaming deluxe and ive managed to get an upgrade for our dedi.

they are giving us a complete new machine with a quadcore Q6600 a bigger hard drive and more ram so we will beable
to host alot more games and servers

the upgrade wont cost us a penny apart from downtime which will probably happen this friday however i havn't been given
a specified time.

I'll post on here further details to come!

Since our CoD4 server is well populated on the weekends we decided to do a double exp day, we'll do this double exp day on every saturday, from now on, so you will get 40xp instead of 20!

All our servers will be offline for today, owing to our host changing site.

Saturday 7th April 2012

8am Power off all systems at Centro.
9am All Systems Powered off, cables Removed and Transferring to Transportation commences
10am Main line Cisco router is sent ahead so it is brought online first before hardware arrives at new site.
12am All Systems are now in High Class packaging and onboard Transportaion
4pm All Systems arrive at new site
5pm Re racking of systems is well under Way
6pm Powering up of systems commences and services start to resume
11pm Final racking of systems Complete and all systems back online

CoD4 Map Rotation Vote!

Yes, it's time again for another map rotation vote after we've tested lots of maps the last few days and ppl asked me if we could add a few maps to our current rotation, I thought about making a rotation vote, so everybody could vote for their maps which they'd like to have on our rotation.

Also, as for the EHD maps, I've asked Seven ( It's the owner of EHD) and he said, yes we're allowed to use them

Forum Update Confirmed!

Howdy peeps!

Just a quick note to let you all know that the forum update has been scheduled to take place on Thursday (26/01/12). There is no set time on that day so at some point the forums will go down for around 45-60 mins and come back up looking nothing like they did before!

We will try and keep the forums active whilst we make changes to the default system but be aware that for the installation of some components we may need to close the site.
