I am too getting it. However this map unfortunately just like hektic is a bit big file size wise (it's about x10 larger than your average cod2 map).

Here is a promice I can make, my next map will be only about 30-40 mb

I dont have time to optimize the map right now, mabey in a day or two I will, I will remove all COD4 vehicals, this will bring down the map to below 60 mb

I know the file size is big, but I cant do anything right now since I am short of time at the moment.

Hmm, I thought it would turn to "water" since its a water texture? I will check on it later today,

If you are using the blue case texture, then it wont magicly change to water. You will have to use the dedicated watertextures in radiant.

Here is a promice I can make, my next map will be only about 30-40 mb

The map is very huge, the only thing that is keeping the file size high is the vehical textures.

I plan to remove the cod4 vehicals but I couldn't test it to see if errors would pop up, because the computer I used, ( i purchased COD2 on Direct 2 drive) they have DRM and it needs to be activated with a internet connection, the DRM for some reason can not sense my internet on the computer I used, so I could not play COD2 to test my map, what I am doing with the last few versions is shooting in the dark, I do not know if the maps I am releasing works or not.

So what I did friday was buy a NEW COD2 copy on Amazon and I am getting it today, and now I can test out my maps that I make!

Today I plan to remove the COD4 vehicles and the size will drop a few mb.

But the map itself is huge... I don't know if, with our population, it is a good thing. And 30-40mb is a lot for a single map, people might not be ready to download that much, if they already have the mod + other map packs to download...


Downloading atm... takes a while!

Hahaha lol normal would be 15-30mb with custom textures and sounds you will look around 35-50mb and 50 would be hard to reach unless you use hd sounds
