Yall PC gamers are too harsh on console. They're really not that bad...I agree windows 8 sucks, but how can we judge a product we haven't even used or hasn't even been released or reviewed yet? Come on guys, at least wait a little bit.

Don't trust reviews, most of them are just payed reviews and don't show the true thing (Atleast with major releases like this). Yes there are some good sites, but there are loads of them who receive money to give the product a good review.
I totally agree that you should not judge it before you have used it though, but I see why people are raising concerns. It kind of looks like Microsoft are going the more casual route and making it a "all in one" box instead of a pure gaming machine (Don't get me wrong, this can be good but it is not what I'm looking for when I want something to play games on).

Also forcing people to cloud services and 24/7 connection to internet is idiotic. Nobody shold support this.
Cloud service = No privacy at all

24/7 Internet connection was a troll and the guy who started that got demoted. You dont actually need that. .____. And I guarantee you half the stuff you use has cloud connection 24/7. Steam uses it, iTunes uses it, and I guarantee you half of the programs on your computer use it. Cloud computing isn't even that bad, it's pretty cool actually, and can really save your butt if you're not careful saving your data.
Oh, and Slize, i dont know who's upvoting and downvoting. It's not me tho. o_O

iTunes is not "always on", you can use it without a connection. Steam is also not "always on" (If you get it's offline mode to work that is).
About "the cloud": Yes, it is quite good for a few things like storing save games and stuff like that, but it does, like Twister said, give you less privacy. Privacy seems like something of the past right now, as we live in the age of being constantly tracked. I don't really like that all the new consoles tend to go "LOOK, WE HAVE SOCIAL STUFF!", because this can be really annoying when it comes to privacy.

Whoever said that you had to update all your social media stuff to the new xbox one? It doesn't DEMAND that you put it in. You don't have to use it for anything else besides gaming if you don't want to.

Meh, I'm more interested to know about the PS4 than this because this seems like they are just trying to turn it into a media device as well with little change from the xbox 360.
Itunes may not be "always on" but the way they conduct their business with your details is worrying... meaning Microsoft may end up the same as Apple.
