A clean CoD2 folder + a clean main folder
We have had a lot of members and non-members asking what a clean folder looks like.
We have also had a lot of requests for information on how to set up a server/host a game.
This topic is made to help you deal with most problems regarding the above mentioned.
Firstly, a clean CoD2 folder looks like this:

Delete any other files if you want to clean your Call of Duty 2 game. You might have a folder named 'Save' that is your save game from single player - if you want to keep it don't delete it ^^
If you have cleaned it and you still get the iwd sum mismatch message you could very well use this program to clean any debris left: Click me! Follow the instructions given by the program and it should work.
Now, when you attempt to host a game of CoD2 you should remember to change the server settings to PURE: NO.
NOTE: you can host a server with PURE set to YES, but that is mostly for stock maps. When hosting custom maps it should be set to NO. If you choose to set it to YES, any attempting to join the server with files not listed above (screens) will get the message 'Impure client'.
If you want to host a lot of maps then try to add them 5 maps at once only; if they all load then try to add 5 more Etc.
NOTE: some maps contain a lot of scripts and they might conflict with other scripts in other maps, so sometimes it is easier to simply delete the map with the most scripts and the rest of them should work.

NOTE: These maps are tested for the zombies gametype and they might work very well for a LAN party even though they scored low.
Finally, if you want to set up the server so others can join then you must do the following:
- Note down your IP address (can be found in the control panel/network connections/LAN) it normally looks something like this: 62.107.141.210
- You also need your port! That is usually 28960 those numbers need to be added to your IP like this: 62.107.141.210:28960 (Note the : in between)
Now you can either connect through x-fire, hamachi, or CoD2 itself (By typing: /connect 62.107.141.210:28960)
